Quarter 2 Service Project
The 2nd quarter of our 2021-2022 year we provided meals to the house of Wings of Shelter during the months of November and December. Wings of Shelter is an organization that helps victims of Sex Trafficking.
We also collected items in December for the girls staying at the WOS home!
Service Chair, Amanda Stith, and her committee were the center piece in organizing this service project.

Message from President
We have made it through the first two quarters of the 2021-2022 year and in such a short amount of time, our club has been busy at work
Over the last six months we have collected over 300 bras for Free the Girls as our year long international service project, worked with New Horizons as our quarter 1 service project where we provided them a $500 grant, collected items for their summer tutoring program, had members volunteer at the summer program, and created an information pamphlet in three languages for them to use for new members of our community, worked with Wings of Shelter as our quarter 2 service project where we provided them with a $500 grant, took part in a seminar teaching how to identify sex trafficking and what to do about it, cooked and delivered meals weekly during the months of November and December to the girls and staff at their safe home, and collected items needed for the current girls staying with them. We also participated in the Walk for Wished where we raised over $400 for the Make A Wish Foundation, we participated in the Zonta Says No to Violence Campaign by hosting the Light Up the Beach event on Bonita Beach, we have inducted 5 new members. We sent two of our members to district conference in October, where we also hosted the reception for the district as well as created the marketing and spoke on the district wide service project for Free the Girls.
I am honored to be apart of this organization alongside the wonderful women that make up our membership. I am excited to see what our club will be able to accomplish for our community and beyond and I hope you will come along with us by joining our sisterhood or by supporting our service and advocacy projects throughout the year.
